MEET THE MAN HIMSELF

SAM GATHERCOLE-SMITH

I have been in the building industry in Aus and NZ for over 20 years now. After completing my apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery in Australia , then shifting focus to commercial maintenance and construction we decided to make the move back home to N.z in 2008, and jumped into residential insurance work and general building field. In March 2017 Sambuild carpentry and maintenance was the beginning of my solo work journey and where i find myself now! I have 3 sons of my own and a partner who has 2 boys so we are generally very busy people ! I enjoy the outdoors, sports and generally making things that come to mind at any given time!
